Snow College Men’s Soccer Hosts CNCC


OPENING KICK OFF: After winning three games in a row, the Snow College men’s soccer team returns home to face Colorado Northwestern Community College on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Snow College Soccer Complex.

The No. 16 Badgers return home having played their last four games on the road, going 3-1 in that streak with wins over Truckee Meadows Community College (2-0), College of Southern Nevada (5-2) and Community Christian College (4-0). Snow College is 5-2-0 overall this season and 3-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference games.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY: CNCC have struggled so far in the 2022 campaign going 0-6-1 with their draw against Northwest College on August 26. The Spartans have currently lost five games in a row and have only scored two goals in that span.

The Badgers have controlled game history against the Spartans since 2016. Snow College is 13-0 against CNCC in that span and has allowed just seven goals overall. Snow College’s biggest margin of victory was an 8-0 victory on September 14, 2018 at Ephraim.

LAST DEATH: Four different Badgers scored throughout the game starting with Ethan Boyd to give the Badgers the 1-0 early win. Oliver Fehintola and Richard Henry each scored followed by Harrison Taylor who capped the victory with a goal. Hugo Champalloux, James Miles and Nick McNiel each recorded assists to help in the win.

Snow College has now won three straight and improved to 3-1-0 in Scenic West Athletic Conference games. The Badgers now play six of their remaining eight home games to finish the season.

NEXT: Snow College will hit the road again to take on No. 18 Utah State University Eastern on Saturday, Oct. 1 at Castleview Hospital Football Field in Price. It will be Badger’s penultimate road game of the season before playing five of its final six home games. For more information, visit
