Alabama Soccer’s Reyna Reyes named SEC Offensive Player of the Week


TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – Alabama football Reyna reyes was named the Southeastern Conference’s co-offensive player of the week, the conference announced on Monday. Reyes led the Crimson Tide to a surprise 1-0 victory over 24th LSU on Friday, scoring the game-winning goal with just over five minutes left in regulation.

Reyes scored the game-winning goal in the team’s upheaval against the nationally ranked Tigers, leading a header past the LSU goalkeeper in the 84e minute of the game. The victory was the team’s fourth consecutive home victory and its seventh overall victory at Alabama Football Stadium this season. Reyes and the Crimson Tide will return to action on Thursday, traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., To face the No.8 Arkansas.
